What you may want to know before we begin
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Every home and every situation is different. Here we answer some of the questions that may help you understand when Mangata Care can be useful, how we work and what you can expect from our service.
Encontrará información tanto si tiene una necesidad técnica concreta You will find information whether you have a specific technical need, are looking for ongoing supervision and continuity for your home, or require specialist support for one of your clients.
Is Mangata Care right for what I need?
-
No. Second homes are one of the situations where our service can be particularly valuable, especially when the owner spends long periods away and wants a consistent technical point of reference. Mangata Care can also support a main residence when there is a specific technical need or when ongoing supervision, follow-up and technical continuity are required.
-
Yes. You do not need to have an ongoing supervision plan to contact us about a specific technical need. We will review the situation, assess whether it falls within our scope and determine the most appropriate next step. If ongoing supervision would subsequently be useful, this can be considered separately.
-
A one-off repair addresses a specific issue. Ongoing supervision adds something different: familiarity with the home over time, a clear record of its condition, identification of changes, documented observations and follow-up of outstanding matters. When specific work is required, its scope is defined before any action is taken. Mangata Care therefore provides technical continuity rather than simply responding to isolated problems.
-
This depends on the characteristics of the home, the agreed service and the type of visit. Our scope focuses on electrical systems, connectivity and telecoms, and selected smart-home systems. We carry out technical and functional checks, identify faults or areas requiring attention and document relevant findings. A scheduled supervision visit is not as in-depth as an Initial Technical Assessment; each review has a clearly defined purpose.
How we work
-
The Initial Technical Assessment is a more comprehensive review that allows us to understand the starting condition of a home before establishing an ongoing supervision programme.
We review the systems within our scope, identify needs and priorities, and create a documented technical baseline for future follow-up.
It is not required for every one-off enquiry or intervention. Its main value is in homes where technical continuity will be maintained over time.
No es necesaria para cualquier consulta o intervención puntual. Su utilidad está especialmente en aquellas viviendas en las que queremos mantener continuidad técnica en el tiempo.
-
We first assess what has been identified and how significant it is. We document the finding, establish priorities and explain clearly what requires attention and what the recommended next steps are.
If the work falls within our scope, we can define the intervention before proceeding. Where another specialist is required, we clearly identify the need and, when agreed, provide the technical continuity needed to support the next stage.
-
The information provided depends on the type of review carried out, but our aim is always to make it clear what has been observed, what requires attention and what remains outstanding.
We document relevant findings and, where appropriate, include photographs, priorities and recommendations for the next steps. With ongoing supervision, this also provides a useful record of how the home evolves over time.
-
There is no single frequency that is right for every home. It depends on the property itself, how it is used, the systems installed, periods of absence and the level of technical follow-up required.
That is why Mangata Care offers different levels of supervision. The frequency is tailored to the home while maintaining the same technical standards and clarity of information throughout.
When I’m away from the property
-
When an ongoing supervision service is in place, we maintain an up-to-date technical picture of the systems included and document the relevant findings from each review.
This allows you to understand what has been checked, what remains outstanding and what the recommended next steps are, even when you are not at the property. The aim is not to overwhelm you with information, but to give you a clear technical view so you can make informed decisions.
-
Yes. For second homes, we can carry out a pre-arrival check to review selected essential aspects of the property before you return.
Depending on the agreed scope, this may include electrical supply and protection devices, essential lighting, connectivity, access systems and selected automation. We will let you know if anything requires attention before your arrival.
-
Access is agreed in advance for each visit. It can be arranged directly with the homeowner, through an authorised person or with the professional responsible for access to the property.
Mangata Care does not need to hold keys on a permanent basis by default. What matters is that the access arrangements are clearly defined and authorised before the visit.
-
You can contact Mangata Care so that we can assess the situation, even if it arises between planned visits. We will determine its priority, confirm whether it falls within our scope and define the most appropriate next step.
Critical incidents are handled in line with the conditions and availability of the service in place and during our technical operating hours. Mangata Care is not a general 24-hour emergency service.
Las incidencias críticas se atienden conforme a las condiciones y disponibilidad del servicio contratado y dentro de nuestro horario técnico. Mangata Care no funciona como un servicio general de emergencias 24 horas.
Professionals & specific solutions
-
Mangata Care can provide specialist technical support when a professional needs a property assessed, a technical issue reviewed or a specific matter kept under follow-up for one of their clients.
We agree the scope of each collaboration in advance and work in a way that respects the existing relationship between the professional and their client. Our role is to complement their service with technical judgement, documentation and continuity where needed, without replacing their role or taking on responsibilities outside our scope.

Mangata Rent Care · Technical Trace is a structured system of checks and comparative records designed for properties with successive guest stays.
We establish a technical and photographic record before each stay and carry out a follow-up check afterwards. This makes it possible to identify changes, faults or items requiring attention and maintain a clear traceable record of how the property evolves over time.
Mangata Care provides this technical layer only; we do not manage bookings, guests, cleaning or other property management services.
